More information can be found at the Protect the Pack website at Essential Job Duties The Receptionist is the first contact for internal and external visitors to the administrative support offices for the Division of Campus Enterprises and Procurement and Business Services Office. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Respond to questions and/or directing visitors to the correct location Answer all incoming calls Maintain and order office supplies Contact person for copier issues Distribute and process mail in Campus Enterprises Other Responsibilities Model the Division’s mission and values, and foster a positive, cohesive workplace and congeniality among co-workers. Understand the goals and culture of the organization, and understand how employees’ work activities, teamwork, and customer service impact clients. Work with your supervisor and colleagues to understand these goals and the culture. Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and regulations, and Division standard operating practices and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the Division of Campus Enterprises and the Procurement and Business Services Office business needs are met. Qualifications Minimum Experience/Education High School Diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Other Required Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, peers and supervisors; and professionally communicate with multiple levels of employees within the University. Outstanding customer service, including the ability to remain professional and respectful under pressure when dealing with difficult situations, to team and customers. Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve minor problems. Ability to work under pressure with heavy work loads prior to semester openings and during season peaks. Ability to multitask. High level of attention to detail and provide accuracy. Proficiency with computers, especially email, word processing and spreadsheet (such as Google or Microsoft) Excellent organizational skills. Requires bending, twisting, pulling and pushing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
