Job Description : ** CANDIDATES ARE ASKED NOT APPLY UNLESS…. you have seasoned experience working in the Construction, Development industry and/or related fields **The ideal candidate will be extremely well-organized, professional, and comfortable dealing with financial data and multiple contracts. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable process, processing construction related docs (as it pertains to payments), and conducting other tasks related to the financial department. The ideal candidate should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to present clear weekly and monthly financial reports. The ideal candidate comes with experience working in a corporate setting, works well independently, has the ability to communicate clearly with peers and outside vendors, and precisely dictates what needs to be done. We are not looking for entry personnel or someone with limited experience “running their own company”. This is a construction and development company with strong investor backing looking to take things to the next level. We are looking for our next department leader! Benefits and compensation will commensurate with experience; we’re looking for a long-term hire!ResponsibilitiesTrack expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of companyProvide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)Ensure collection of all contractors W-9’s and other annual documents for tax purposesMonitor accounts payable and receivableOccasional administrative tasks to include operations (lien waivers, permitting, insurance, etc.)Heavy communication with Vendors, Subs, Primes, Banks, etc.Occasional ad hoc work, must be able to EFFECTIVELY multi-task.Qualifications**Non-negotiable: Must have seasoned experience working in the Construction, Development industry and/or related fields****Non-negotiable: Must be extremely proficient in Google Drive, Google Sheets, working with PDFs and Quickbooks**Must be very comfortable communicating with Vendors, Contractors, Primes and Subs to collect, reconcile and payout invoices (no exceptions)Must have extremely strong organizational and analytical skills; understand operations and processes, pay schedules and familiar with how construction contracts, lien waivers and releases workBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field3+ years of experience in related fieldCandidate must be resourceful and have the ability to troubleshoot when problems arise with little hand-holdingTime Management skills A MUST!Candidate must be located in or around Boca Raton, Florida (no more than 50 miles away), and be willing to work HYBRID REMOTE (some from home, some in office). The firm needs part-time only M-F, 20 hours per week / 4 hours per day, however this will very likely transfer to a Full-Time position for the right candidate.
