Quality Engineer (QESH)

Job description :
Key Accountabilities Ensure manufacturing plant quality, environmental, safety and health (QESH) systems are maintained or developed in compliance with ISO/TS16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements. Champion quality programmes by defining and eliminating root causes of quality deficiencies and spearhead ESH improvement initiatives. Enhance customer satisfaction thorough the effective use of appropriate tools and processes for management of customer feedback. Manage day-to day quality processes to ensure full compliance to product sales specifications. Manage the SPC & MSA processes. Represent ASPAC in the WW Packaging team to improve packaging design and standardization for quality delivery of products. Major Responsibilities Conduct quality and ESH management reviews. Manage QESH internal audit processes. Serve as internal auditor for QESH management system audits. Manage the complete QESH management systems documentation Coordinate certification body & customer audits Conduct detail investigations for all product/quality related complaints. Execute and manage proposed corrective actions to address root causes of complaints. Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions taken Ensure process and product changes comply with specification and follow proper change management process. Handle nonconforming products, including the MRB process. Manage the waiver / customer concession process for products. Maintain FMS and ensure that it is being adhered to. Review and update control plan and PFMEA. Review and follow up on quality feedbacks from operators. Manage the calibration process. Verify SPC data and actions taken at production floor. Conduct SPC analysis. Perform MSA on a defined periodic frequency Active participation in the WW packaging team
Qualifications :
Qualification Requirements At least a University Degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Quality Control/Assurance Trained internal auditor and experience in conducting QESH management system audits. Experience in managing customer feedback/ complaint handling process preferred. Practical working knowledge in statistical process control, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis Good knowledge of PC software, e.g. SAP, Microsoft Office Excellent in spoken & written English communication skills. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage
