Job description :
Responsibilities: * Meets and/or exceeds overall sales goals and quotas as assigned. Develop and expand Tour Operator business and implement key account relationship management strategies. * Responsible for setting the sales strategic direction for the company, implementing this strategy, managing and empowering the team members for the delivery of those expectations. * Develops and directs the regions sales teams in Europe, USA and Asia; provides overall direction for staffing and development of key resources to ensure effective allocation of human resources; evaluates Area Sales Directors, and other direct reports performance against sales objectives. * Creates and manages intelligence gathering capability for the marketplace to ensure that objectives are met. Directs tactical implementation of business plan to meet objectives. Drives productivity and effectiveness with sales strategy. * Participates in strategic sales planning and develops sales forecasts. Provides market insights, trends, competitive activities and conditions. Recommends changes to strategic and tactical sales plans. Analyzes and reports changing needs within the sales organization for training, sales programs and field assets. Owns and responsible for sales forecasts for communication to BOD/owners. Develops and communicates recovery plans as needed to meet sales objectives. * Maintains an active management role with key Tour Operator accounts. * Directs the interface of sales and marketing strategies with other departments and develops business plans that fit a continually changing marketplace. * Maintain knowledge of trends within markets and travel industries; recognize and address sales barriers. * Prepares, administers and controls Sales & Marketing expense budget as part of the overall company profits.
 
Qualifications :
Qualifications: * Bachelorís Degree in Business Administration * At least 10 years experience in sales or marketing management in the hospitality industry, experience in global wholesale or retail travel, corporate travel background or retail travel * Proven success in achieving sales objectives and must have extensive prior management experience in handling client accounts in Europe, USA and Asian markets * A good business sense and an understanding of how sales ties into the profitability of a company * Dynamic, aggressive and results-oriented * A hands-on management style; adaptable to fast-paced, high growth and changing environment * Previous P&L exposure and accountability is important * Excellent communication skills * Computer literate * Excellent command of English
